Pizza Goulash

I made this last night, and I was surprised at how easy, filling, and satisfying it was. Neither the name nor the appearance is anything to celebrate, but the taste was great and the ease of preparation gets a standing ovation. If you like, you can call it Pizza Fantabulousness.
Ingredients:
1.5 pounds of ground beef, turkey, pork, etc (beast of your choice)
1/2 onion, finely sliced or diced
small jar of no sugar added pizza or spagetti sauce, or 1/2 of a regular Ragu sized jar
8oz of cream cheese
A pinch of basil, oregano, and garlic powder.
“toppings” of your choice – I like Italian sausage and mushrooms on a pizza, so I added one small drained can of sliced mushrooms and put in 1 pound of ground turkey and 1 pound of Italian sausage for the meat. You could add slices of pepperoni, chopped bell peppers, ham, olives, or whatever else you like on a pizza.
Brown the meat with the onion and any vegetables or toppings that should be cooked, like raw bell peppers. Add the sauce, spices, and other toppings, then stir in the cream cheese until it is completely melted and blended.
Voila, you’re done! If you are avoiding excess carbohydrates, put some in a bowl and eat it as is, or if you want to serve it as a family meal, add some cooked macaroni. If not everyone in the family is avoiding carbs, just put a portion in a bowl and add pasta to the remaining portion. This is a simple way to avoid having to make extra dishes to satisfy everyone.
